Moving with nature is tending our cosmic roots. The 5 elements are inherent in the human body as well as in food. Our bodies hold the memories of the five elements. Our motions, our dreams, our everyday actions set the stage for stirring memory of past and future. Moving consciously therefore is remembering. Our present spell of forgetfulness makes consciousness vital. Our relationship to our bodies hence holds the potential to re-member our humanness, our true nature. Moving with nature as nature, so to say. Blessed are the cycles of nature and beyond.

Yoga group classes

Yoga to me is a life-long commitment to personal growth. It provides you with powerful tools that hold the power to navigate you through life’s intensity. The way I experience and teach Yoga is an intuitive art based on the rhythm of the present moment in harmony with the sacred cycles of nature. Depending on the time quality, energy moves differently through us, for instance according to the time of the day, the season of the year or the moon cycle. Hence, my Yoga classes reflect these changes and always start with a concrete theme that we will explore and embody together in our bodies and in community.

Yoga translated means oneness with self. A graceful connection of body, mind and soul to support us in arriving at home within ourselves. Without this connection, we become, as Alexander Lowen states “split into a disembodied spirit and a disenchanted body”. I therefore make use of a wider array of practices such as movement, meditation, breath work, and rituals or journaling for a holistic encounter with yourself.
